The goal of pennywhistle was to create a vape beautiful enough that users would be excited to keep and reuse this piece. The design is inspired by the East Coast origins of the lore of Fiddler's Green - a place of bounty and serenity where sailors are thought to voyage after perishing at sea. At Fiddlers Green they find all the treasures a sailor could dream of.
The color palette reflects the brand colours of the Fiddler's Green dispensary. The entirety of the illustration tells a story. The jigging fiddler dances in the glow of the lighthouse while the leaves blow around him as though they're dancing to his song too. The tail of the mermaid floating in the sky behind the lighthouse develops the other-wordly atmosphere of Fiddlers Green. Finally, by omititng any crisp lines and giving an etched appearance to the linework the design conveys the weight of history and weathering of the storms gone through to reach Fiddler's Green.
